We can discuss my availability and the cost of a package to suit your individual requirements.

I also accept instalments to ease the cost.

Your family and friends can purchase Doula gift vouchers from Doula UK, or if you are experiencing financial hardship, you may be eligible for free support through the Doula UK Access Fund.

As your birth doula I will support you continuously through labour and birth. I’ll be on call for you and arrive at your home or hospital and remain until after the baby is born.

My aim is to maintain a calm and peaceful energy in the your birthing environment. When women are cared for during childbirth by a kind, gentle and reassuring presence, someone who knows them and respects their wishes, they feel safe and tend to give birth more quickly and easily.

My comprehensive Birth Doula package includes:

  • Usually 2 antenatal visits to discuss your birth preferences, expectations, birth physiology, parenting, any previous birth experiences and just to get to know each other. It is also important to meet your partner as I am there to support them as well.
  • I will be exclusively on-call 24/7 for 2 weeks before your guess date until your baby arrives and you can call me anytime of the day or night
  • I will support you throughout your labour until your baby is born and stay with you for a few hours afterwards until you are content for me to leave
  • Usually one postnatal visit to ensure you are happy after the birth of your baby and to chat through the birth.
  • Unlimited texts, email and telephone support throughout your pregnancy
  • Access to my library of books, use of TENS machine
  • Signposting to relevant agencies, websites, contacts, if relevant
  • Hire of a birth pool if required
  • Hire of a cub birthing stool if required
  • Hire of a TENS machine if required
  • Hire of Birth Sling if required
  • Optional HypnoBirthing course

Postnatal Doula Services

Please contact me for a free initial consultation to talk about my services and answer any questions you may have.
Get in touch

As a Postnatal Doula I offer an individualised and flexible support package.

Too often there’s plenty of support to help you care for baby, but not enough focus on you! It’s normal to feel overwhelmed and absolutely exhausted at times, so it’s important to be nourished and cared for too.

Sometimes I support a family as a one-off, and sometimes the support can last anything from a few weeks to a couple of years.

Postnatal Support packages include:

  • planning for the postnatal period and chatting about expectations and the reality of having a newborn
  • postnatal visits with a flexibility to suit you and your family needs
  • helping you to debrief your birth experience
  • hold your baby while you get some rest
  • light shopping
  • nourish you with food
  • accompany you to doctor’s/hospital appointments
  • help with older siblings
  • assistance with pet care
  • signposting on feeding, crying, sleeping, babywear, if relevant
  • help you to adjust to your new way of life as a mum!

here are some reviews from my clients – read more here

After much searching and reflecting, I met with Anne, a Doula whose patience and a passionate interest, support and experience in the wellbeing of women before, during and after childbirth meant I felt connected from the word go during our initial meeting during the latter part of my second trimester.…

The worst thing about using a doula for the birth of my second child was that I was cross with myself for not doing it the first time around. During and following the birth of my first son I felt lost; decisions  were made that I later regretted. I felt…

I booked Anne as my postnatal doula for my first baby and liked her so much that I booked her again for my second! My husband and I don’t have any close family living nearby, so Anne’s visits provided invaluable support during our first weeks as new parents and then…

Anne is much more than a doula. Anne provided me with postnatal support that I literally could not have done without. From the very first days and weeks she was one of the only people I could really relax with and felt secure enough to leave the baby with in…

I hired Anne as my doula for the birth of my second child (a planned HBAC) and she was absolutely amazing. Anne was with me every step of the way through my pregnancy, supporting and offering guidance to help me make important decisions. My labour was very long, but she…

Thank you so much for your support during both pregnancy and (most importantly!) during labour.  It was invaluable having you there and I keep raving about how great doulas are to random pregnant woman!

I first messaged Anne when I was living in Australia and planning to move home to birth our second child. I was planning a home birth after having a traumatic c section with our first and was determined to have a solid support network this time. Well, from the moment…

My Husband and I needed to find a doula in Northern Ireland and needed to hire her from South Africa before meeting her. As soon as I saw Anne online something in my heart knew she was right for us. She attentively cared for us during our hypnobirthing course online…

When I tell you I would have baby no.6 just to have Anne by my side again I would in a heartbeat, but we must sensibly halt at 5 😅 Jesting aside, I wish I had of new Anne years ago, if I did I would have had her at…

I got in touch with Anne when I found out I was pregnant with our third child. My first birth was a classic ‘cascade of intervention’, leaving me with ongoing gynae issues and a complete fear of childbirth. My second was an elective Caesarian due to breech baby. So I…
